We hope (the ones of you who celebrate it) had a merry Christmas or Hanukkah or other nice winter holidays. As we could see, you are all very busy and need more time to enter our contest, right? So don't worry. We decided to set a new deadline, so that all of you have plenty of time to think, plan and realise something nice. So the new deadline is April 5th 2015 (Easter). We hope this encourages you to give it a try and take part. We are looking sooo forward to your entries. So don't be shy, now there's time for your creative celebration of friendship!

Contest Information

Theme:  FRIENDSHIP! 
It's ALL  about friendship... Why?:  because friendship is one of
the most precious things we can experience in life. It's even in the name of what many of us regularly create: "friendship bracelets"...but this time it's about creating a special gift for a very special person:  ...your best friend.

Procedure:  Here's what you need to do, if you
wish to enter:
Knot a symbol of friendship for your best friend and yourself. They don't
have to be, but can be, bracelets, however, they must be knotted and be something you would really like to share with your best friend! Make sure your item is in two parts, (so that both friends, your bestie ...and yourself, each have a part to keep)   The items should evoke and create an emotively strong bond. Bracelets, pendants, necklaces, keyrings, two halfs of a whole - everything is allowed, as long as it is knotted, is in two parts and is something that expresses your friendship.

Jim Morrison said, A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself. So, be yourself! and share it with your friend! Make something special, that shows how unique your friendship to this special person is. Then take a picture of it, add a desciption of why you want to share this item with your best friend, submit your deviation in our contest folder and then give your sign of friendship to this special human being, you are proud of to call your friend (which is in our opinion the most beautiful part of the contest...)

Guidelines: 

You can submit
only one entry
Your entry has to be made of knots and something double (for
your friend and yourself)
It does not matter what it is - can be two pendants, two halves of a whole thing, two bracelets, two necklaces etc. - just be creative!
Pearls, beads, stones etc. are allowed
Please submit your entry into our contest folder:

The description of the entry is very important and must
contain the reason why you would like to share this particular item with
your friend.

Deadline:  Closing date for entries is NEW NEW NEW:
5th of April 2015 (all time zones)

PRIZES:
Of course there will , as usual, be some nice prizes for you, features and
some knotted pieces made by your admins.  Naturally we would welcome any contributions in the way of perhaps offering  a prize yourself, contributing some points (send to Nimuae ) or creating a feature or journal for the contest when it's concluded.... you are most welcome. (Please let us know by sending a message to the group or one of the admins...  ).
